Over the last couple of weeks I have quilted six quilts for Quilts for Care leavers. Providing ‘quilted hugs’ to care leavers aged between 16 and 25 who are living independently after their time in the local authority care system. A fantastic charity which always welcomes volunteers.
These quilts were made by volunteers creating lots of blocks, then these blocks were pieced together by Eleanor, then I quilted and bound them. Many hands make light work!
